Garuda Road Pekanbaru city is a local road that serves local transportation with short distance travel characteristics, has a length of 2,600 meters and a width of 5 meters. Road damage can be caused by several factors, including water due to poor drainage conditions, pavement construction materials, unstable subgrade conditions, poor compaction processes on the subgrade layer. The author made direct observations on Garuda Road along 1,400 meters of the road length of 2,600 meters. The damage started from the Paus Road intersection at STA 00+000 to Mandala Road at STA 01+400. The aim of the research is to determine the types of damage and determine the index value of the flexible pavement condition on Garuda Road, Pekanbaru city using the Pavement Condition Index (PCI) method. This research was conducted into 7 segments with a size of 200 per segment. The results of the calculations show that the damage to Garuda Road, Pekanbaru city, includes 1 collapse, 25 holes, 2 diagonal cracks, 2 crocodile skin cracks, 2 crocodile skin cracks, 12 damage to longitudinal cracks, 56 damage to loose grains, and 42 patches. damage, where on Garuda Road Pekanbaru city there were 140 types of damage. The average index value for Garuda Road, Pekanbaru city is 45 with fair conditions.
