Analisis Tingkat Pelayanan Fasilitas Pejalan Kaki Di Kawasan Pasar Mandau Kota Duri
Mandau District is the largest economic and market center in Bengkalis Regency. Buying and selling activities in the Mandau Market area cause crowds of people shopping, thus affecting the level of service for pedestrian facilities. This research aims to determine the characteristics and level of service of pedestrian facilities in the Mandau Market area. This level of service refers to Minister of Public Works Regulation Number 3 of 2014. From the results of this research analysis, it can be concluded that the lowest level of service for 3 days in the two segments occurred on Sunday, September 3 2023 in segment I at 13.15 – 13.30 WIB and 16.30 – 16.45 WIB, namely standard C with a pedestrian space value of 3,496 m2/person and 3,396 m2/person. Therefore, better handling recommendations are needed to increase comfort and safety for pedestrians without disturbing other pedestrians. Recommendations for handling can be done by arranging street vendors which produces a pedestrian space value of 4,994 m2/person with standard B and widening pedestrian paths to a minimum width of 2 m to meet the requirements for designing pedestrian paths in trade areas which produces a pedestrian space value of 6,658 m2/person with B standard.
