Pengaruh Tingkat Pendidikan Orang Tua Terhadap Disiplin Belajar Mahasiswa PPKN Fkip Universitas Riau
This research is motivated by the role of parents' education level in guiding and directing their children in the learning process especially in student learning disciplines. Methods: This study used a quantitative research method at PPKn FKIP Riau University. The research sample as many as 93 people who were recruited using a simple random sampling. The measurement tools used a questionnary. The statistical analysis used the simple linear regression analysis. Result: The result showed the most of respondents were female (88,2%), the most of respondents were class of 2022 (37,6), the most of education level of parents of PPKn FKIP Riau University students were graduated from high school (68,8%) and student learning discipline PPKn FKIP Riau University were in the good category. Based on the results simple linear regression analysis showed that there was no effect of level parental education regarding the learning discipline of PPKn students at Riau University. Conclusion: Based on the research results, it is hoped that the PPKn study program Riau University FKIP can provide character building education discipline in students in an effort to increase discipline, especially in studying to students.
