Hubungan Mata Kuliah Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan Dengan Orientasi Politik Mahasiswa FKIP Universitas Riau

This research is motivated by the issue of students' political orientation which requires provision in the form of political education obtained through Citizenship Education course material. The factors that form political orientation are the political knowledge that a person must have, the mindset and upbringing in the surrounding environment which also influence the final result or final view of a person's politics. This research uses a quantitative approach, through primary data sources obtained by distributing questionnaires via Google Form to 262 respondents. From the results of the Spearman Rank correlation test with the P value or Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000 or < (less than) 0.05 or 0.01 and a Correlation Coefficient value of 0.612 proves that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, so that there is a relationship between the independent variable (x), namely Citizenship Education Subjects and the variable attachment (y) namely the Political Orientation of Riau University FKIP Students.
