Strategi Politik Partai Golongan Karya (Golkar) Dalam Upaya Pemenangan Calon Legislatif Perempuan Pada Pemilu 2019 Kota Pekanbaru

Based on Law No. 7 of 2017 concerning Political Parties, and Law No. 10 of 2008 concerning General Elections which states that including at least 30% representation of women in legislative elections and in the management of political parties. The problem in this research is the political strategy used by the Golkar party in its efforts to win female legislative candidates in the 2019 elections in Pekanbaru City. The aim of this research is to determine the political strategy used by the Golkar party in its efforts to win female legislative candidates in the 2019 elections in Pekanbaru City. This research uses Peter Schorder's Theory of Political Strategy, strategy is divided into three, namely Offensive strategy and Defensive strategy. The offensive strategy that must appear is the difference in circumstances when applied. Defensive Strategy, a typical strategy to maintain a government majority. A mixture of defensive and offensive strategies that implement defensive strategies against apposition parties and carry out offensive strategies against their coalition. The method used in the research is descriptive qualitative. The data sources used are primary data and secondary data with interview data collection selecting 7 people as samples. The research results show that there are many winning strategies carried out by female legislative candidates, starting from the objectives to the method of implementation. In presenting women's voices, there is a lot of great effort in recruiting them by carrying out strategies carried out by political parties to fulfill this. These strategies are offensive strategy, defensive strategy and mixed strategy.
