Inovasi Pelaksanaan Pelayanan Publik Pada Kepengurusan Paspor Di Kantor Imigrasi Kelas I Kota Pekanbaru Tahun 2022
Public service providers are always required to innovate continuously according to needs and make it easier for the public to obtain public services. This study aims to find out innovations in the implementation of passport management at the Class 1 Immigration Office in Pekanbaru City. Using descriptive qualitative research methods to collect data using observation interviews and documentation. Based on the results of the study, it shows that passport management innovations at the Class 1 Immigration Office in Pekanbaru City have been able to fulfill the 5 components of the innovation theory put forward by Roger, namely relative advantage, suitability, complexity, and easy to observe, passport management innovations in accordance with Law Number 6 Year 2011 concerning Immigration and laws and regulations. Innovations issued by the Class 1 Immigration Office in Pekanbaru City, namely Pekanbaru Immigration at dusk serving Tuesday and Thursday (IKAN SELAIS), Thumb HAM, Immigration Serving in Place (IKAN SEPAT) and passport services on Saturday and Sunday. Through this innovation, the community will find it easy to obtain excellent service provided by the Class 1 Immigration Office in Pekanbaru City.
