Jenis-Jenis Tumbuhan Obat Dan Pemanfaatannya Di Kecamatan Pangean Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi Sebagai Rancangan Buku Saku
The Pangean district is a region that has the uniqueness and excellence inining local wisdom about medicinal plants. The growing local knowledge in the Pangean district community needs to be digged again so that local knowledge does not disappear as the current modernization of development takes place. The purpose of this research is to inventory and identify the kinds of medicinal plants used or used in traditional medicine by the Pangean district of Kuantan Singingi district as a Saku Book project. Sampling was carried out in 5 villages namely New Market Village, Koto, Pauh Angit, Bekali Land, and Sukapiang. Data collection is done using the method of surveys and interviews to key informants and respondents. The research was conducted in July-August 2023. The data obtained is analyzed and analyzed descriptively.
According to research carried out at the Pangean district, there are 61 kinds of medicinal plants that have been successfully identified belonging to 31 plant families. The most common family of plants is the Zingiberaceae family, which contains 10 species, including red ginger, zingiber officinale, pineapple (Kaemferia galangal) and jade (Curcuma xanthorriza). The second largest family is the Poaceae family. (Cymbopogan nardus). The most widely used plant organs are the leaf parts, with the most processed methods being boiled. Most use is to treat diseases of the digestive system such as stomach pain, constipation, diarrhea. The Saku Book draft from the results of research on the types of medicinal plants and their uses in the Pangean district of Kuantan Singingi can be used as one of the learning resources in the learning of the X class of high school.
