Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran Kimia Unsur Berbasis Web menggunakan Sitepad untuk Meningkatkan Kemandirian Belajar dan Efikasi Diri Peserta Didik SMA
The purpose of this research is to determine the increase in learning independence and media self-efficacy using media. This website is designed on elemental chemistry. Research into the development of web-based learning media on chemical element material hopes to provide real descriptions so that students are aware, for example, of the subject of making elements and the use of chemical elements in everyday life to make students aware that studying chemistry will build self-confidence and pride in having a broad insight into the world.
The problem found from this research is that the learning media provided in schools still tends to be monotonous, namely in the form of print media so that students do not play an active role during the learning process. Lack of use of technology as a learning resource in learning. Lack of student self-efficacy, lack of student independence and students need interesting learning resources so that learning is not monotonous. Development of web-based learning media on elemental chemistry material using the Borg & Gall development model.
The stages carried out are, (1) Introduction and Information Gathering which consists of field studies and literature studies, (2) Planning which consists of determining web development goals, formulating a web framework, formulating learning independence and self-efficacy and formulating web assessment instruments. The next stage is (3) initial product development by writing a web draft and validation with material experts and media experts. The web validation stage was carried out by 3 material expert validators and 3 media expert validators. After the website is declared valid by the validator team, a one-on-one, small-scale test is carried out and then revised according to suggestions and obstacles faced by students. After that, (4) initial field trials were carried out. Next, (5) initial product revisions were carried out based on initial field trials. After revision, (6) main field trials were carried out on one class of students. The final stage is (7) revision of the main field trial product.
The method used was pre-experimental with a Non Equivalent Control Group Design research design. The research instrument is a questionnaire consisting of 20 questions for each variable. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling. Sitepad-based web material on chemical elements is categorized as very valid based on the assessment of material experts with a score of 97.11% and media experts with a score of 90.83%.
Data analysis techniques were tested using paired difference tests (paired sample t-test) and N-Gain values. From sample testing, a significance value of p
