Pengembangan E- Instrumen Penilaian Untuk Mengukur Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis dan Keterampilan Proses Sains Peserta Didik ada Materi Kesetimbangan Kimia
This research aims to develop an instrument for assessing students' critical thinking abilities and science process skills on chemical equilibrium material that is valid and reliable and to determine the differences in the results of measuring students' critical thinking abilities and science process skills on chemical equilibrium material at high, medium and low schools.
This research uses the Research and Development (R & D) method, with the ADDIE model, which consists of 5 phases, namely the analysis phase, design phase, development phase, implementation phase and evaluation phase. The initial product was validated by 3 chemistry expert lecturers. This research involved 3 senior high schools (SMA) in Pekanbaru with high, medium and low levels, namely SMA Negeri 5 Pekanbaru, SMA Negeri 1 Pekanbaru and SMA Negeri 4 Pekanbaru. The data collection instruments in this research were validation questionnaires, user response questionnaires and assessment instruments in the form of choice questions.
The critical thinking ability assessment instrument developed was declared valid in terms of content validity, with Aiken's validation (V) values ranging from 0.87-0.94. In terms of construct validity, there are 10 valid questions out of the total number of questions. The questions developed have met the reliability requirements with a Cronbach alpha coefficient value greater than 0.6, namely 0.694. The level of difficulty of the questions is in the easy, medium and difficult categories, namely 83% of the questions are in the medium category and 17% of the questions are in the difficult category. And the differentiating power of the questions is in the very good, good and sufficient categories. The percentage of differentiating power of the questions was found to be 83% of the questions in the very good category and 17% of the questions in the sufficient category.
There are 10 questions tested on students, this can be seen from the achievement of learning indicators in the chemical equilibrium material and the planned allocation of test time. The instrument for assessing critical thinking skills and science process skills in the readability aspect is the very good category, the time adequacy aspect is the good category and the feasibility aspect is the very good category. The results of measuring critical thinking skills on chemical equilibrium material for 75 students in high, medium and low schools have a significance value of 0.025
