Pengembangan E-LKPD Berbasis PBL Dengan Pendekatan Etnosains Untuk Meningkatkan Nilai Karakter Dan Sikap Konservasi Peserta Didik Pada Materi Redoks Di SMA Negeri 6 Pekanbaru
The various problems that exist in Indonesia today reflect the loss of national character values. The role of the school as a place for the formation of student character is considered important and has considerable influence. Teachers are required to be able to continue to develop themselves and be role models for students to form good character. The character of caring for the environment of students can be developed by applying conservation values in an effort to overcome the problem of environmental damage. These conservation values can be achieved through a continuous learning process and are applied from an early age. This study aims to produce PBL Integrated Ethnoscience-Based E- LKPD on redox material that is valid and to find out the increase in students' character values and conservation attitudes on redox material.
This study uses the Research and Development (R & D) method with the Plomp model, which consists of three phases: the preliminary research phase, the development or prototype phase, and the assessment phase. Data collection techniques used included interviews, student questionnaires, validation sheets, and user response questionnaires. Validation was assessed by three material experts and media experts. Small-scale trials were carried out using two methods: one-on- one tests and user responses. The one-on-one test involved three students with high, medium, and low abilities. User response assessment involved three teachers and 30 students at SMAN 6 Pekanbaru, SMAN 1 Pekanbaru, and SMAN 14 Pekanbaru. The research design on a large-scale trial was a pre-experimental Pretest-Posttest Control Group design. The sampling technique used purposive sampling and obtained one sample class, namely class X IPA, totaling 32 people as experimental class one, 36 people as experimental class two, and class X Science, totaling 36 people as control class one and 34 people as control class two.
The results showed that the developed E-LKPD obtained an average percentage of material experts and media experts, namely 95% and 92% with very valid criteria; the one-on-one test obtained student comments for the E-LKPD components that must be repaired; and user responses, namely teachers and students, got percentages of 87.5% and 91.5 with very good criteria. In the large- scale test, questionnaire data on character values and conservation attitudes were obtained before and after using the E-LKPD. A paired t test on character values and conservation attitudes data gets each significance value of 0.000 (sig
