Pemanfaatan Pupuk Organik Cair (POC) Limbah Ikan Patin (Pangasianodon hypophthalmus) Sebagai Media Kultur Tetraselmis chuii
Catfish waste is a product that can be used as liquid organic fertilizer (LOF) and can help reduce existing environmental problems. This study aims to determine the effect of giving POC catfish waste ( P. hypophthalmus ) for the culture medium of T. chuii. The Tetraselmis seeds used came from the cultivation of the Lampung Center for Marine Cultivation (BBPBL). This research used an experimental method with a one factor Completely Randomized Design (CRD) of 6 treatment levels and 3 replications. The treatment doses used were P0 (without LOF (control)), P1 (5 ml/L), P2 (7.5 ml/L), P3 (10 ml/L), P4 (12.5 ml /L) and PC (fertilizer conwy PA 1 ml/L (comparison) ). The highest peak cell density after PC occurred at P4 with 12.5 ml/L dose, with the highest population density of 359,83x104±19,66 cells/ml on the 7th day and a specific growth rate (SGR) of 0,34 cells/ml/day. Water quality during the research was within the optimum range and could still be tolerated for growth and reproduction of T. chuii, etc. Temperature 23-27°C, pH 8,1-9,8 , DO 5,05-6,10 mg/L, salinity 30-36 ppt, nitrate 0,030-2,568 mg/L, phosphate 0,45-1,99 mg/L, and color of the culture media during the study continued to light green/bright to dark green/dark at peak times population.
