Pengembangan Instrumen Asesmen Kemampuan Penalaran Matematis Topik Perbandingan Siswa Fase D
One of the abilities that students must have is mathematical reasoning ability. However, students' mathematical reasoning ability is low. This study aims to produce an assessment instrument for mathematical reasoning ability on the topic of comparison of phase D students that is valid, reliable, and has a good level of difficulty and differentiating power. The development model used is development studies, consisting of preliminary stage and formative evaluation stage (self evaluation, expert review, one-to-one, small group, field test). The results of rational validity (content, construction, and face aspects) of questions and questionnaires of mathematical reasoning ability were 3.7 and 3.8 (scale 4) with very valid criteria. The results of empirical validity of mathematical reasoning ability questions are 8 valid questions; reliability value of 0.85 with high criteria; easy difficulty level of 3 questions, moderate as many as 3 questions and difficult as many as 1 question; as well as distinguishing power with very good criteria as many as 1 question, good as many as 5 questions, and sufficient 2 as many questions. Meanwhile, the results of the empirical validity of the mathematical reasoning ability questionnaire are 14 valid items and 1 invalid item; reliability value of 0.85 with high criteria; sufficient differentiating power as many as 12 items and poor as 2 items. So, the final product in the form of mathematical reasoning ability questions amounted to 8 questions and a questionnaire of mathematical reasoning ability amounted to 12 items.
