Pelaksanaan Fungsi Badan Permusyawaratan Desa Lubuk Bendahara Timur Kecamatan Rokan Iv Koto Kabupaten Rokan Hulu Tahun 2022

This research was motivated by the author's curiosity about the main tasks and functions of the government institution called the Village Consultative Body, this is because in every activity of the village government the Village Consultative Body plays less of a role, seeing the phenomena that occur seems to strengthen the author to carry out research on the BPD, so that it starts from anxiety Therefore, the author conducted this research.
The aim of this research is to determine the implementation of the functions of the East Lubuk Village Consultative Body and the factors that influence this implementation. To explain this research the author used descriptive qualitative research methods and used the theory of Muhammad Mu'iz Raharjo, SSTP, M.Si as well as the BPD guidebook published by the Ministry of Home Affairs.
The research results show that the implementation of the function of the Lubuk Bendahara Timur Village Consultative Body has been implemented but is not yet optimal, it can be seen from (1) In carrying out the function of discussing and agreeing on draft village regulations, the BPD did not carry out internal discussions first, (2) In carrying out the function of accommodating and channeling community aspirations, BPD does not yet have a data book on community aspirations, (3) Implementation of the village head's performance monitoring function is very minimal because BPD members have side jobs and personal businesses so that BPD members prefer these side jobs rather than carrying out their duties as BPD. The factors that influence this implementation are (1) Self-awareness to carry out duties as a BPD, (2) Educational factors, because scientific background also determines the quality of implementation of the agency being led.
