Makian Dalam Konten Animasi Channel Youtube Vernalta

This research aims to explain the forms and references of swearing in the animated content of the Vernalta YouTube channel. The type of research that researchers use is descriptive qualitative research. The research method that researchers used in this study was descriptive qualitative. The data in this research are forms and references to swear words in the animated content of the Vernalta YouTube channel. The data source was obtained from 29 videos uploaded in the time period of January 2023. The data collection method used was the listening and note-taking method. The results of this research are that swear words in the form of words are more common than phrases and clauses. Swear words in the form of words include lapet, stupid, damn, dog, cok, bastard, and anjir. Swearing in the form of phrases is the basis of a disobedient child. Swear words in the form of clauses include your father, your brain, your teeth, your backlash, your lapet, and your death. Swearing with animal references is more common than other swearing references. Swear words with animal references include dog, anjir, njir, nation, pig and kampret. Swears refer to objects including rags, unclean, and carrion. The activity-referencing term is cok. Swear words refer to circumstances, namely stupid, unlucky, stupid, you bastard, you're crazy, you're crazy, and you're dead. The swear words refer to parts of the body, namely brain you, your eyes, your teeth and your mouth. The term refers to kinship, namely your father. The curse refers to spirits, namely devils. Slurs with profession references were not found in the data source for January 2023. And there was one piece of data that had no reference, namely the word buset.
