Kemampuan Menulis Teks Prosedur Kompleks Siswa Kelas VII MTSN 2 Siak
This research describes the ability of class VII students at MTsN 2 Siak in writing complex procedural texts. This research is quantitative research because the data presented in this research is in the form of numbers. The data analysis technique in this research uses descriptive statistical techniques. The research instrument used in this research is a test for writing a complex type of procedural text which consists of many steps in making it with sub steps for each step. In the test instrument used, the researcher provides one title then students are invited to write a complex procedural text based on the title. set. Students are asked to create complex procedure texts by paying attention to existing assessment aspects, namely text structure and writing rules. The problem formulation in this research is what is the level of ability to write complex procedural texts for class VII MTsN 2 Siak students? Based on the research results, the ability to write complex procedural texts for class VII MTsN 2 Siak students is classified as moderate. This was discovered after testing using the Lilliefors normality test and one sample t test with an average of 73.32.
