Leksikal Bunga Dalam Peribahasa Melayu : Analisis Semantik Inkuisitif
The proverb that uses the element "Flower" is used as a symbol to describe the reality of life in Malay society and has its own value to be used as a guideline in everyday life. The old Malay community always researched the nature of animals and natural elements such as flowers for allusive symbols or warnings. In this research, the main analysis is to use the inquisitive semantic approach and to use the Cross Reference Framework (RRS) approach in analyzing the data. A total of 40 data taken from the corpus of the Malay Literature Reference Center (PRPM) through the link http://prpmv1.dbp.gov.my/ there are four proverbs analyzed. Data and data sources in this research were obtained through the Malay Literature Reference Center (PRPM) along with journals and websites related to Malay proverbs, especially Bunga. The data collection technique is by studying documents from PRPM, read, record and analyze. The analysis process uses 3 stages, namely script semantics to find out the meaning in general or a dictionary, then cognitive semantics to understand the meaning based on the relationship with the community of proverb users, and finally inquisitive semantics to find the reason for the use of flower objects in Malay proverbs with high-level thinking and a combination of various disciplines knowledge The purpose of this research is to find out the meaning of the word flower and to know what domains are found in Malay proverbs. The research results explain that flowers are chosen as a proverbial object in Malay society to show something good. This can be seen from the meaning of flower which is a beautiful, soft and fragrant plant.
