Hubungan Promosi Media Sosial Instagram Melalak Odan Dengan Minat Berkunjung Ke Objek Wisata Pulau Pandang Dan Pulau Salah Namo Kabupaten Batu Bara Provinsi Sumatra Utara

This research was carried out on Pandang Island and Salah Namo Island, Batu Bara Regency, North Sumatra Province, namely in July 2023. The research location was determined purposively based on the consideration that Melalak Odan uses Instagram social media as a forum for promoting the tourist attractions of Pandang Island and Salah Namo Island. Pandang Island and Salah Namo Island are not only promoted by Melalak Odan, but Melalak Odan is a Tour and Travel that uses Instagram as a promotional platform for Pandang Island and Salah Namo Island. Melalak Odan has affordable travel packages so many followers who want to visit use Melalak Odan's services. This sampling method uses the accidental sampling method, which is a technique that determines the sample by chance, anyone who meets the researcher by chance if the person they meet by chance is suitable as a data source of 100 people. The purpose of this research is to determine the relationship between promotions carried out by Instagram Melalak Odan and interest in visiting the tourist attractions of Pandang Island and Salah Namo Island. The research results show that the promotion carried out is in the very good category with a score of 8,838, while the intention to visit tourist attractions is in the good category with a score of 3,258. And the relationship between Instagram social media promotion Melalak Odan and interest in visiting has a significant relationship between promotion and interest in visiting in the sample analyzed. The relationship between these two variables is strong. Instagram promotion and visiting interest have a relationship. This shows that promotions have a role in attracting users to visit the Pandang Island and Salah Namo Island tourist attractions.
