Fishermen's spare time is the free time owned by every fisherman who fishes every day. Spare time owned by fishermen can be utilized as obtaining additional income and as developing the personal potential of fishermen. The purpose of this study is to analyze the use of time outside fishing activities to fulfill the economic, social and psychological needs of fishermen. The method used in this research is the Case Study method using a qualitative approach. Selection of informants in this study is purposive. Data analysis used in this research is qualitative data analysis starting from data reduction, data display and conclusion drawing. The results of the research Utilization of fishermen's time outside fishing as a fulfillment of economic needs such as diversification of work in the form of animal husbandry, rice farming and aquaculture, as well as helping wives in increasing fishermen's household income. Utilization of fishermen's time outside fishing as a fulfillment of social needs such as building social networks and seeking information and conducting traditional events. Utilization of fishermen's time outside fishing as a fulfillment of psychological needs such as pig hunting activities and also raising birds.
