Pengaruh Gaya Mengajar Guru Terhadap Motivasi Belajar Siswa Mata Pelajaran Ips Terpadu Di Smp Negeri 1 Teluk Kuantan
Growing student motivation in learning is a more important responsibility for educators, by creating learning conditions and learning areas that support all students. So that motivated students have a strong desire to take part in learning activities. Thisresearch aims to determine the effect of teacher teaching style on student learning motivation in Integrated Social Sciences subjects at SMPN 1 Teluk Kuantan. The choice of location was based on the affordability of the research location by the researcher, both in terms of personnel, funds and in terms of time efficiency, and based on the location survey it was found that there were obstacles faced by teachers in Integrated Social Sciences learning.The population in this study were students in class VIII 2 –VIII 5 of SMP Negeri 1 Teluk Kuantan for the 2022/2023 academic year with a population of 124 students. The sample for this research was 44 students using random proportional sampling techniques,data collection methods using closed questionnaires. Data analysis used for 2 variables used descriptive analysis. After that, the classical assumptions were tested (normality, linearity and heteroscedasticity) as a condition for carrying out a simple linear regression analysis test with the help of SPSS 22. Hypothesis testing used simple linear regression, t test and R2 test. Based on the research results, it shows that the teacher's teaching style has a significant influence on student learning motivation in the Integrated Social Sciences subject at SMPN Negeri 1 Teluk Kuantan with a coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.331 or 33.1%. Teachers need to improve other teaching methods that can attract students' interest during learning because students' characters are always different every year. However, there is still a need to improve the classroom environment which is conducive to students' comfort and focus in learning.
