Rancang Bangun Alat Penghitung Jumlah Pengunjung Museum Otomatis Berbasis Arduino Menggunakan Sensor PIR (Passive Infrared Receiver)
Counting the number of visitors entering the museum area is generally still done manually by existing officers. This does not rule out the possibility of frequent errors by officers due to staff being divided in concentration or lack of accuracy which results in damage to historical relics in the museum. Due to this problem, a tool is needed that functions to count the number of visitors. This tool aims to help officers to count and monitor the circulation of the number of visitors. This tool uses a PIR (passive infrared receiver) sensor as a detector to count visitors entering and leaving the museum. In the tool system it uses an Arduino Uno ATMega328 microcontroller which is used to control the system on the counter and the calculation results will be displayed on a 16x2 LCD in the form of the number of visitors entry, exit, total and maximum limit for the number of visitors in the museum. The tool designed uses a servo motor as a portal driver and a buzzer as an indicator when capacity is full. Officers can adjust the museum's capacity using the keypad according to their needs.
