Analisis Pengaruh Ketidakseimbangan Beban Terhadap Efisiensi Transformator Pada PT. PLN (Persero) Ulp Duri Pengelolaan Unit Tersebar Belutu
The imbalance of loads in the distribution transformer always arises due to uneven electricity usage. The consequence of this load imbalance is the flow of current in the neutral conductor of the transformer, leading to losses. Other losses in the transformer include power losses, core losses, and copper losses. Problem analysis using a mathematical model involves calculating the percentage of transformer loading, the percentage of load imbalance, as well as power losses and efficiency. After conducting a one-day study on the BLT-001 50 kVA transformer at PT. PLN (Persero) ULP Duri Pengelolaan Unit Tersebar Belutu, it was found that the peak loading percentage occurred at 14:00 WIB, amounting to 67.43%. The highest percentage of load imbalance was recorded at 16:00 WIB, reaching 33.02%. The highest total losses occurred at 14:00 WIB, amounting to 2027.66 W. The transformer's highest efficiency was at 97.45% at 00:00 WIB. The increase in total losses results in the transformer's performance becoming low, and its efficiency decreases. This indicates that the magnitude of total losses has a significant impact on transformer efficiency, including losses due to neutral current.
