Analisis Prakiraan Kebutuhan Energi Listrik Di Kota Pekanbaru Tahun 2023-2032 Dengan Metode Regresi Linear
The forecast of electricity demand in the city of Pekanbaru is conducted from 2023 to 2032 using the linear regression method. The aim of the electricity demand forecast is to anticipate the electricity needs in Pekanbaru for the next 10 years to be used as input in the planning of the electricity system development. The forecast of electricity demand in Pekanbaru is based on four sectors: households, businesses, industries, and public. In the forecasting process, several variables are utilized, including the number of customers, regional gross domestic product (GDP), and the basic electricity tariff for each sector as independent variables, while the dependent variable is the electricity demand. The forecast results for electricity demand in 2023 are 1.834.000 MWh and in 2032, it is 2.384.649 MWh, with an average growth rate of 2.961%. The average power in 2023 is 609 MW, and in 2032, it is 792 MW, with an average growth rate of 2.961%.
