Analisis Tingkat Keselamatan Kerja Pada Pekerja Cold Storage Di Pelabuhan Perikanan Samudera Bungus Provinsi Sumatera Barat
Cold storage is a specially designed room with specific temperature conditions, primarily intended to maintain the quality of fish caught by fishermen by freezing them at temperatures ranging from -30, -45, to -60 degrees Celsius, causing the fish to become frozen. The purpose of this research is to identify the types of work-related accidents that occur among workers in the cold storage of PPS Bungus, identify hazards originating from workers' activities in the cold storage area, and calculate the level of occupational accident risk associated with activities in the cold storage of PPS Bungus. The research was conducted from May 8 to May 30, 2023, and took place at the cold storage facility of the Ocean Fisheries Port (PPS) Bungus in West Sumatra Province. The research employed an observational descriptive method with a case study approach, involving the identification of conditions through direct observation. The analyses used included Hierarchy Task Analysis (HTA) and Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment (HIRA). occupational accidents that workers may experience during fish handling activities is categorized into three levels: high risk, medium risk, and low risk. Activities with a risk score of 16–20 points fall into the high-risk category, accounting for 11%, activities with a risk score of 9–15 points fall into the medium-risk category, representing 21%, and activities with a risk score of 1–8 points fall into the low-risk category, constituting 68%.
