Peran Anggota Rumah Tangga Nelayan Terhadap Pendapatan Pada Usaha Pengolahan Ikan Parang Di Desa Pekan Kecamatan Tanjung Beringin Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai Provinsi Sumatera Utara

This research was conducted in August 2023, precisely in Pekan Village, Tanjung Beringin Sub District, Serdang Bedagai Regency, North Sumatera Province with the aim of knowing the economic conditions of fishermen’s households seen based on aspect of the fish processing business and also knowing the contribution of income of fishermen’s household members. The aspects used in the parang fish processing business are technical, finansial, market, access, control, decision making, and benefits. The method used in this research is a survey method with a quantitative approach and for determining respondents using a cencus with 18 respondents. Meanwhile, to achieve the objectives of this study using Likert Scale data analysis and income contribution to household members. The result showed that the Likert Scale score of fishermen’s households in the parang fish processing business is 765, meaning that the economic condition of fishermen’s households is good and can also be use as an example for other fishermen’s households and the contribution of fishermen’s household income to the parang fish processing business is 98% to 100%, meaning that it is very high and meets the needs of family life.
