Potensi dan Strategi Pengembangan Ekowisata Mangrove Desa Bukit Batu, Kabupaten Bengkalis

This research was conducted from November 2023 to February 2024 in Bukit Batu Village, Bengkalis District. Bukit Batu Village is a tourist village in Bukit Batu, Bengkalis District. This village has huge tourism potential, with mangrove ecotourism as one of the highlights of tourism. Bukit Batu Village's mangrove area is a tourist attraction that is directly managed by the Bukit Batu Village government. The aim of this study is to identify the potential of the mangrove ecosystem to identify a strategy for developing mangrove ecosystems in Bukit Batu Village. This research method uses a field survey method, which is subsequently analyzed using a SWOT technique provided in a descriptive format. The study's findings revealed that the Tourist Appropriation Index (IKW) for Bukit Batu's Mangrove habitat is very suitable (S1).
