Pengaruh Perpustakaan Digital Terhadap Minat Baca Siswa MAN 1 Kuantan Singingi
This research is motivated by a phenomenon that occurs in fact at MAN 1 Kuantan Singingi which shows that more than 50% of MAN 1 Kuantan Singingi students still have a low interest in reading. This phenomenon shows that the facts that occur in the field do not match the ideal conditions that should occur. Therefore, researchers are interested in conducting research with the title The Influence of Digital Libraries on the Reading Interest of MAN 1 Kuantan Singingi Students.
The formulation of the problem in this research is whether there is an influence of digital libraries on students' reading interest at MAN 1 Kuantan Singingi. The purpose of this research is to find out whether there is an influence of digital libraries on students' reading interest at MAN 1 Kuantan Singingi. The benefit of this research is that it is hoped that this research can provide additional scientific information for education providers, especially educational institutions that implement or provide digital libraries, about how digital libraries can increase students' interest in reading.
This research method uses quantitative methods with a statistical approach. The data collection instrument used in this research was a questionnaire consisting of 26 questions. The population in this study was 618 students and the sample taken in this study was 20% of the total population, namely 124 respondents consisting of classes X, XI, XII using the Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling Technique. Based on the results of research on the influence of digital libraries on MAN 1 Kuantan Singingi students' reading interest, it can be concluded that there is an influence of digital libraries on MAN 1 Kuantan Singingi students' reading interest.
This can be proven from the F test that it is known that there is a significant influence of variable (X) Digital Library and variable (Y) Student Reading Interest. This is proven by the results of the F test calculation of 71.975, while in the F table it is 3.92 at a significance level of 5%, which means that Ha is accepted. Apart from that, the result of calculating the correlation or relationship value (calculated R) is 0.609. From the SPSS output, the coefficient of determination (R Square) is 37.1%, so it can be concluded that there is an influence of variable % is influenced by other factors.
Apart from that, based on the results of a simple linear regression test, a constant value of 3.360 was obtained, which means that the consistency value of the Digital Library variable was 3.360 and the X regression coefficient value was 0.374, stating that for every 1% additional value of the Digital Library, students' reading interest increased by 0.374. The regression coefficient is positive, so it can be interpreted that the direction of influence of the Digital Library (variable X) on Students' Reading Interest (Y) is positive.
