Keanekaragaman Pisang Di Kecamatan Tambang Kabupaten Kampar Berdasarkan Karakter Morfologi Dan Penanda Scar Terkait Resistensi Terhadap Fusarium Oxysporum F.Sp. Cubense
Indonesia is known for its diversity of banana cultivars. Banana populations generally decline due to pathogen attacks, including the pathogenic fungus Fusarium oxysporum f.Sp. cubense, which causes fusarium wilt. Banana germplasm resistance to this disease can be detected through SCAR (Sequence Characterized Amplified Region) molecular markers. This study aims to analyze banana diversity in Kecamatan Tambang Kabupaten Kampar based on morphological characters and SCAR markers related to resistance to Fusarium oxysporum f.Sp. cubense. The results showed that four banana cultivars (Lemak Manis, Tanduk, Awak, and Rotan) were amplified by primer ScaS0901. While the primer ScaU1001 was not able to amplify all samples. This suggests that the five bananas have partial resistance to Foc TR4.
