Realitas Sosial Di Masa Pandemi Covid-19 Dalam Film Hari Yang Dijanjikan:Pendekatan Mimetik

This research aims to describe the relationship between social realities contained in films and real life data from society that occurred during Covid-19. This type of research is qualitative research with descriptive methods. The data for this research is the social reality of the film The Promised Day. The data source for this research is the dialogue of the film The Promised Day which is 1 hour 18 minutes long. The data collection method in this research uses listening and taking notes. The listening and note-taking technique here means that the researcher carefully listens to the dialogue of the actors in the film The Promised Day and notes the dialogue identified as reflecting the social reality of people's lives during Covid-19. The results of this research were the discovery of social reality from six forms of social reality according to Soekanto, namely social interaction, social values and norms, culture, social stratification, social status and roles, and social change.
