Kritik Sosial Dalam Novel Si Anak Savana Karya Tere Liye

This research aims to describe social problems and find those who are the targets of social criticism in the novel Si Anak Savana by Tere Liye. This type of research is qualitative descriptive research. The data source in this research is the novel Si Anak Savana by Tere Liye with a total of 380 pages published by PT Sabak Grip Nusantara in January 2022. This research data is in the form of language units, namely words, phrases, sentences, discourse and quotations as well as the actions of characters related to social criticism. . Data collection techniques in this research used document review, literature study and note-taking techniques. The research results show that there is social criticism related to issues of (1) family disorganization (2) morals, (3) environment, (4) bureaucracy, (5) education, and (6) religion. The parties who are the targets of social criticism in the novel Si Anak Savana are (1) individuals, (2) society, (3) government officials, (4) parents, and (5) workers.
