Pengaruh Strategi Pembelajaran Card Sort Terhadap Hasil Belajar Ipas Siswa (Studi Eksperimen Kuasi Siswa Kelas V SD IT Milatul Khoir Pekanbaru)
In this research, there is a problem that motivates the author to conduct research, namely the lack of student activity in the learning process, where in conventional learning the teacher is more the center of attention or the main figure in the learning process so that students tend to just wait for explanations and answers from the teacher, this has a big influence on learning outcomes. low students. Based on the problems above, the researcher wants to use a card sort learning strategy to improve student learning outcomes in class V science and science subjects at SD IT Milatul Khoir Pekanbaru. This research is a quantitative quasi-experimental research where researchers use two classes, namely the control class and the experimental class. The control class was used as a comparison class using conventional learning while the experimental class used the card sort learning strategy treatment. In this research, the researcher used a research instrument with multiple choice test questions, namely pretest and posttest, where the pretest questions were given before the learning process began and the posttest questions were given after the learning process was completed to determine the final results of student learning. The results of this research show that student learning outcomes have increased by using the card sort learning strategy. The N-Gain score obtained in the control class shows that the average (mean) N-Gain score is 54.93%, which is included in the less effective category. while in the experimental class the average (mean) N-Gain score obtained was 75.43%, which is included in the effective category. From the average value of the two classes, it can be concluded that the average increase (mean) for the control class and experimental class was 19.5%.
