This research was motivated by the Muhadharah extracurricular towards the formation of religious character at MTs Attaufiqiyah. There are several problems such as students who behave disrespectfully towards parents and teachers, male students who smoke in the school environment, in the school environment there are some students who skip school and don't dress according to school rules, and there is mutual bullying and disrespect for each other. each other. With the Muhadharah extracurricular activity, it is hoped that students who take part in this extracurricular activity can once again improve their religious character.
The formulation of the problem in this research is whether there is an influence of muhadharah extracurricular activities on the formation of students' religious character at MTs Attaufiqiyah. The aim of this research is to find out whether there is an influence of muhadharah extracurricular activities on the formation of students' religious character at MTs Attaufiqiyah. The benefits of this research are: first, practical benefits that can be used as a reference for further research related to extracurricular muhadharah and religious character and can be used as material for further study.



This research uses quantitative methods, with descriptive statistical data analysis techniques. The data collection instrument used in this research is questionnaire (questionnaire) consisting of 27 questions. The population in this study were all students at MTs Attaufiqiyah who took part in muhadharah extracurricular activities totaling 100 students. Determining the sample in this study used the Isaac and Michael formula with an error rate of 5%, so that out of 100 students taken as a sample, 78 students were taken.
Based on the results of research on the influence of muhadharah extracurriculars on the formation of students' religious character at MTs Attaufiqiyah, it can be concluded that there is a positive influence between muhadharah extracurriculars on the formation of students' religious character at MTs Attaufiqiyah.
This can be proven by simple linear regression analysis, namely Ŷ = 20.818% + 0.481X. The results of the equation above can be translated as a constant of 20.818, which means that the consistency value of the Muhadharah extracurricular variable is 20.818, the X regression coefficient is 0.481, which states that by adding 1% of the Muhadharah extracurricular value, the religious character will increase by 0.481. The coefficient is positive, meaning that extracurricular Muhadharah (X) has a positive effect on Religious Character (Y).
Based on the statistical results of F, it is obtained that Fcount is 41.126 and Ftable is 3.967, which shows that Fcount > Ftable, so Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Based on this statement, this research hypothesis is accepted. Apart from that, the influence of extracurricular Muhadharah on religious character is in a strong interpretation, because based on the calculation results above it is known that the relationship value (R) is 0.610. From this output, a coefficient of determination (R Square) of 0.373 is obtained, which means that the influence of the independent variable (Muhadharah extracurricular) on the dependent variable (Religious Character) is 37.3%.
Based on the research that has been carried out, it can be concluded that the muhadharah extracurricular has a positive influence on the formation of students' religious character at MTs Attaufiqiyah.
