Analisis Persaingan Industri Kecil Bubuk Kopi Di Kecamatan Sukajadi Kota Pekanbaru
This Study aims to determine the business competition of the coffee powder industry in Sukajadi District, Pekanbaru City, and to find out alternative strategies to increase sales of coffee powder in Sukajadi District, Pekanbaru City. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach, namely Porter's Five Forces Model analysis and to determine the structure of market competition using IHH and CR4 analysis. The type of data used in this research is primary data obtained directly from respondents through interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. While secondary data is obtained through government agencies such as the Pekanbaru City Statistics Agency and the Pekanbaru City Industry and Trade Office. The results showed that the market competition structure of the coffee powder small industry in Sukajadi District, Pekanbaru City is an oligopoly. From Porter's Five Forces Model, the supplier variable is quite strong from within and outside the region. From the newcomer variable, it is quite weak due to barriers to entering the business such as the amount of capital, long-standing similar businesses, and product quality competition. From the substitute product substitution variable, it threatens the existing coffee powder business in Sukajadi District, Pekanbaru City, such as packaged coffee and packaged tea.
