Pengaruh Pemberian Probiotik Terhadap Pertumbuhan Ikan Bawal Air Tawar (Collosoma Macropomum) Dengan Dosis Berbeda Pada Sistem Resirkulasi

The study aims to determine the effect of giving probiotic Nitrobacteri with different doses on the growth and survival of freshwater pomfret (Collosoma macropomum). This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) method consisting of 5 treatments with 3 replicates each, namely P0 (control), P1 (0.20 m/L), P2 (0.25 m/L), P3 (0.30 m/L) and P4 (0.30 m/L) carried out from July to August 2023. Located at the Laboratory of Aquaculture Technology, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, Riau University. The parameters observed were absolute weight growth, absolute length growth, survival, feed conversion ratio, bacterial density and water quality parameters. The results showed that the effect of giving Nitrobacteri probiotics with different doses in water had a significant effect on the growth and survival of freshwater pomfret. The best treatment in this study was P3 with a dose of 0.30 m/L resulting in absolute weight growth of 7.32 g, absolute length growth of 4.97 cm, specific growth rate of 3.65%, survival rate of 100%, feed conversion ratio of 1.39% and water quality during maintenance showed optimal results for cultured fish.
