Nilai-Nilai Tradisi Badikiar Pada Peringatan Maulid Nabi Di Desa Muaro Sentajo Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi

The Badikiar tradition is a tradition oriented towards Islamic religious activities. One of the traditions carried out is the Badikiar Tradition. For example, the Badikiar tradition is carried out at the commemoration of the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad SAW. This tradition sings poetry to the Prophet Muhammad SAW. The aim of this research is to describe the moral values and social values contained in the Badikiar Tradition pantun text on the anniversary of the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad SAW. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with an analytical approach. The data used in this research is in the form of pantun texts sung during the Badikiar Tradition process which contain moral and social values. The data source in this research is the interview process with people who know about the Badikiar Tradition at the commemoration of the Prophet's birthday in Muaro Sentajo village, Kuantan Singingi Regency. Data collection was carried out by interviewing one of the figures or players and then witnessing the tradition directly. Finally, the researcher will collect documentation and ensure that all the data obtained is valid. The validity of the data used is triangulation and member check. Data analysis techniques use data reduction, data presentation and data conclusion. The results of this research are the moral values contained in the Badikiar Tradition pantun texts, namely moral values related to the call to respect, be religious, establish friendship, be generous, and remind each other of good things. Social values are social values related to cooperation, helping each other, caring and togetherness.
