The main problem examined in this research is the decline in rubber prices causing people to start switching their land use to oil palm land. Second, are there opportunities for collaboration with other parties? This type of research is field research and uses qualitative descriptive methods, data collection used is direct observation, interviews and documentation. Primary data was obtained from observations and in-depth interviews with rubber farmers at the research location. Based on the research results, it shows that the reason that encouraged rubber farmers in the research location to switch to oil palm farmers was because the price of rubber continued to decline so that it was not enough to meet their daily needs, so they decided to switch to oil palm plants which had a price opportunity. This is enough to fulfill and even improve the economy of the rubber farmer's family. Here it can also be observed that there is an opportunity to improve the economic life of the population after changing the function of rubber land to oil palm plantations, which will be a source of prosperity for the family. This has a positive impact on the farmers, such as increasing income, easier work activities, increasing assets, and families feeling more prosperous than before.
