Budidaya Udang Vannamei (Litopenaeus Vannamei) Pada Sistem Resirkulasi Dengan Pemberian Kunyit Putih (Curcuma Zedoaria) Pada Pakan Dengan Dosis Berbeda
This research was carried out for 50 days in January-March 2024. Shrimp rearing has been carried out in the Aquaculture Technology laboratory of the Department of Aquaculture, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine, University of Riau. White turmeric extract was made at the Riau College of Pharmaceutical Sciences. The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of white turmeric (C. zedoaria) and the best dose on feed on the growth and survival of vannamei shrimp (L. vannamei). The method used in this research is an experimental method using a complete randomized design (CRD), which uses 5 levels of treatment with 3 replications. The treatments applied at this stage of research is the difference in the dosage of white turmeric as follows: P0 = Control, P1 = White turmeric 0,5%, P2 = White turmeric 1%, P3 = White turmeric 1,5%, P4 = White turmeric 2%. The best treatment was obtained from the treatment with 2% dose of white turmeric which resulted in specific growth rate value was 7,91 ± 0,02%/day, feed conversion ratio was 1,01 ± 0,01, survival rate was 80%, and THC value was 27,61 x 106 cells/mL. Water quality parameters measured during the research obtained salinity of 15 ppt, temperature ranged from 26,5-28,1oC, pH ranged from 7-8, dissolved oxygen ranged from 4-5,5 mg/L, ammonia ranged from 0,023-0,069 mg/L.
