The theoretical study used by researchers in this research is a linguistic study in the form of a study of morphology, words, words with affixes, affixes, verbs and verb-forming affixes based on the theory of expert Abdul Chaer. This research refers to several research sources that are relevant/in accordance with the researcher's study and is analyzed based on the framework of thinking that has been designed by the researcher. The type of research used is qualitative research with research methods in the form of descriptive methods. The place and time of the research are adjusted to the researcher's estimates in completing this research. The data in this study are in the form of verb-forming affixes attached to free morphemes and basic bound morphemes. The data source in this research is the dubbing narrative in the 2023 news edition of the online media riautelevisi.com. The data collection method is a documentation method using listening and note-taking techniques. The research instrument is the researcher himself (human instrument). The data analysis technique in this research is the implementation of qualitative analysis, namely data reduction, data display, and
conclusion drawing/verification. Next, the validity of the data uses theoretical triangulation techniques and increases persistence.
Based on the results of this research, the verb-forming affixes found were 292 data. The verb forming affixes include verbs with the prefix {ber-} found in 42 data, verbs with the prefix {meN-} found in 138 data, verbs with the prefix {di-} found in 21 data, verbs with the prefix {ter-} found in 35 data, verbs with the prefix {ke-} were found in 1 data, verbs with the prefix {per-} were found in 7 data, verbs with the suffix {-kan} were found in 12 data, verbs with the suffix {-i} were found in 7 data, verbs with the confix {per-kan } found as many as 7 data, verbs with the confix {per-i} found as many as 3 data, verbs with the confix {ke-an} found as many as 6 data, verbs with the confix {ber-kan} found as many as 6 data, and verbs with the confix {ber-an} A total of 5 data and the verb with the clofix {ber-an} were found in 2 data.
The process of verb formation that researchers found in the dubing narrative as a whole consists of thirteen forms of affixes, namely the retention of the /r/ phoneme, the deletion of the /r/ phoneme, the change of the /r/ phoneme to the /l/ phoneme, the addition of the nasal phoneme /n/, the addition of a nasal phoneme /m/, phoneme preservation, phoneme decay, change of phoneme /N/ to /ñ/), addition of nasal phoneme /ng/, addition of nasal phoneme /nge/, and phoneme shift. The grammatical meaning of verb-forming affixes that researchers found in the dubbing narrative as a whole from the thirteen forms of affixes is closely related to the meaning components of the basic morphemes involved in the word formation process.
Based on the research that has been carried out, there are several recommendations for related parties. First, for future researchers to be able to use the object of research study in the form of spoken language, such as regional languages that develop in Indonesia. This is a hope that regional languages will be more dynamic. Second, the research results can be used as reference material for learning Indonesian regarding the study of affixations in the form of verb formation affixes in academic circles.
