Disfemisme Dalam Tuturan Masyarakat Desa Kompe Berangin Kecamatan Cerenti Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi

This research aims to describe the form and function of dysphemism in
the speech of the people of Kompe Berangin Village, Cerenti District. The method
used is a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques, taprecording
techniques, note-taking and observation techniques. The data analysis
method used is to carry out data reduction, then continue with displaying the data
and drawing conclusions from the data analysis that has been carried out. Based
on research, the data obtained was 89 data with a classification of forms of
dysphemism consisting of words, phrases. Then the functions of dysphemism
include as a statement to show disrespect or affirm another person, as a statement
to swear or curse, as a means to insult or hit, as a means to show anger or
annoyance, as a means to show dislike or disagreement about something, for
example. somebody.
