Keanekaragaman Ordo Anura Di Hutan Larangan Adat Ghimbo Potai, Kabupaten Kampar, Riau
The Ghimbo Potai Traditional Prohibited Forest is one part of the Kenegerian Rumbio Traditional Prohibited Forest, Currently, there is no data regarding the species and diversity of Anura Order in the Ghimbo Potai Traditional Prohibited Forest. Therefore, to complete the data on the Anura Order species found in the Kenegerian Rumbio indigenous Prohibited Forest. This study aims to compare the diversity of the Anura Order species at the level of human activity disturbance at three different stations and conservation status. The method used is Visual Encounter Survey (VES) with morning observations (07:00-10:00 am) and evening (19:00-22:00 pm). Data analysis used the Shannon-Weiner diversity index (H’), species evenness (E), and similarity index (IS). Anura conservation status is determined based on P.I06/MenLHK/Setjen/Kum.1/6/2018, International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) Red List, and Conservation on International Trade in Endangered Species (CITES). The Anura Order found totaled 358 individuals, belonging to five families and 14 species. The Ranidae family was the most frequently found family. All species of the Order Anura found are classified as not protected and have not been included tn the CITES appendix. The global conservation status of the species shows that 12 species of the Anura Order are classified as Least Concern (LC), while L. paramacrodon and L. malesianus are as Near Threatened (NT).
Key findings: Ranidae, Visual Encounter Survey (VES), almost endangered, not protected.
