Audit Energi Listrik Gedung Masjid Arfaunnas Universitas Riau Serta Potensi Peluang Penghematan Konsumsi Energi Listrik Berbasis IoT
The government's main policy direction regarding national energy is energy conservation to increase the efficiency of energy use and utilization (demand side) and energy diversification to increase the share of new energy and renewable energy in the national energy structure (supply side). This process includes an energy audit, which is a method for calculating the energy consumption level of a building or building. The researcher aims to carry out an Energy Audit Analysis at the Arfaunnas Mosque Building, University of Riau with the aim of knowing the profile of energy use and energy savings opportunities at the Arfaunnas Mosque Building, University of Riau. Energy Consumption Intensity (IKE) at the Arfaunnas Mosque, University of Riau in January – March 2024 before saving efforts were carried out, results were obtained with a data range of 6 - 9. The IKE results were according to the criteria of Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Regulation No. 13 of 2012 in air- conditioned buildings is included in the efficient category because IKE < 8.5, namely the ablution room, living room, main room on the 2nd floor and terrace, for the gharim room and main room on the 1st floor it is included in the inefficient category because IKE > 8.5. After saving efforts, IKE results were obtained with a data range of 3.99 – 5.98. These results show that IKE at the Arfaunnas Mosque, University of Riau, has achieved the opportunity to save lights and air conditioning, according to the criteria of Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Regulation No. 13 of 2012 on Air-conditioned Buildings is included in the very efficient category because IKE
< 8.5.
