Kemampuan Tumbuh Genjer (Limnocharis Flava) Pada Beberapa Konsentrasi Limbah Cair Rumah Tangga
The household liquid waste containing high levels of organic and inorganic materials, which may cause environmental pollution. One of the efforts to overcome pollution caused by waste can be made by phytoremediation using Limnocharis flava. The purpose of this research was to determine the ability growth of Limnocharis flava to grow at several concentrations of household liquid waste. The research used a Complete Random Design with a variation of household liquid waste concentrations 0 (control), 25, 50, 75 and 100%. The research conducted for 30 days. Data was analyzed using analysis of variance and tested further with the Duncan's Multiple Range Test (DMRT) at the level of 5%. The results showed that Limnocharis flava plants were able to grow at low household liquid waste concentrations (25 and 50%) was able to increase final fresh biomass and at high household liquid waste concentrations (75 and 100%) decrease final fresh biomass with a final chlorophyll content range of 15-41,1 µmol/m2. Limnocharis flava is able to reduce pH and temperature at all concentrations of household liquid waste.
