Inventarisasi Jenis-Jenis Ikan Ordo Siluriformes Di Dua Anak Sungai Siak, Kota Pekanbaru, Provinsi Riau
The Siak River is a river that flows in the city of Pekanbaru which has several tributaries including the Sail River and the Umban Sari River. The Siak River plays a role as a fishery resource. Generally the types of fish found are consumption fish, apart from transportation activities, bathing, washing toilets, However, the many activities along the Siak River such as waste disposal, agriculture and animal husbandry affect the fish resources of the Siluriformes order in the Siak River, namely the Sail River, the Umban Sari River. The available data and information are not yet complete enough, so research is needed from year to year regarding the types of fish of the Siluriformes order in the two tributaries of the Siak River. The aim of this research was to determine the diversity of fish of the Siluriformes order in two tributaries of the Siak River, Pekanbaru City, Riau Province. Fish samples were collected from fishermen and then identified in the Zoology Laboratory, Biology Department, Mathematics and Natural Sciences Faculty, Riau University. The fish found consisted of 6 families, namely Pangasiidae, Bagridae, Clariidae, Siluridae and Loricariidae, which consisted of 6 species, namely Pangasius polyuranodon (23 individuals), Pangasius kunyit (8 individuals), Hemibagrus nemurus (75 individuals), Clarias batrachus (6 individuals), Kryptopterus lais (3 individuals) and Pterygoplichthys pardalis (1 individual).
