Pengaruh Steam Extraction Flow Turbin Terhadap Efisiensi Turbin 4 Dan 6
A steam turbine is a piece of equipment that serves to convert the energy contained in steam (enthalpy) into mechanical energy in the form of a rotating moment on the turbine shaft. This type of back pressure turbine has heavy performance, because certain blades are extracted into MP steam and LP steam. This turbine needs 2 kg of steam to produce 1 MW. Turbine efficiency is the ability of the turbine to convert the heat energy contained in the steam into mechanical energy to drive the generator. The purpose of writing the final project with the title "Effect of Steam Extraction Flow on Turbine Efficiency 4 and 6" is to study the effect of steam extraction rate on the performance of turbines 4 and 6. The average efficiency value produced by turbines 4 and 6 during January 2024 is 92,29%. Where on January 9, 2024 when the steam extraction entering the MP header is 48.53 kg / s, the efficiency produced by turbine 4 on January 9, 2024 is 81,20%, while for turbine 6 where on January 17, 2024 when the steam extraction entering the MP header is 4.36 kg / s, the efficiency produced by turbine 6 on January 9, 2024 is 83,31%..
