Analisis Kepatuhan Pekerja Terhadap Penggunaan Alat Pelindung Diri (Apd) Pada Departemen Woodyard

Personal protective equipment (PPE) is equipment designed to protect the worker's body and reduce the severity of work accidents. Awareness with the use of PPE affects the level of work accidents, the lower the level of awareness with the use of PPE, the greater the impact of work accidents and knowledge is one of the factors that influence worker awareness. This study aims to determine the description of worker knowledge and awareness and to analyze the relationship between knowledge and worker awareness in the use of PPE in the woodyard department. The type of research used is descriptive analytic research with a cross sectional study design. The data collection process was carried out using a questionnaire with random sampling technique to 95 workers. The collected data were analyzed using statistical program for social science (SPSS) software. The results of the observation of workers' knowledge showed that 65,3% of workers had good knowledge and 34,7% of workers had poor knowledge, while the results of observations of workers' awareness levels showed that 67,4% of workers were compliant with the use of PPE and 32,6% of workers were not compliant with the use of PPE. From the results of the research analysis, it is also known that there is a significant relationship between knowledge and worker awareness with the use of PPE with a p-value obtained smaller than the α value, namely 0,001
