Kerapatan Mangrove Dan Kelimpahan Sipetang (Pharus Sp) Di Desa Api-Api Kecamatan Bandar Laksamana Kabupaten Bengkalis
Mangroves are an aquatic ecosystem located in areas where marine and fresh waters meet which are influenced by tides. The mangrove ecosystem is inhabited by many types of organisms, one of which is the sipetang. Sipetang (Pharus sp) is an organism that has a soft body and a hard shell for self-protection. This research aims to determine the relationship between mangrove density and the abundance of sipetang (Pharus sp). Api-Api Village is one of the villages in Bandar Laksamana District that has sipetang organisms. In Api-Api Village, the abundance of sipetang is starting to decline due to the mangrove forests starting to be degraded. This research was carried out from January to February 2024. This research used a survey method while determining the location used a purposive sampling method while the sampling technique used was line transects. There are 3 stations where the results of the analysis using simple linear regression show a linear equation, namely Y= 1,2432 + 0,0001x, meaning that mangrove density will follow the abundance of sipetang. The r value ranges from 0.80 ≤ r ≤ 1.00 and the Rsquare (determination) value is 0,9884, which means that the abundance of sipetang is influenced by mangrove density by 98,84% and the rest is influenced by other factors such as sediment, organic material and quality. aquatic environment.
