Struktur Komunitas Ikan Di Zona Riverine Waduk Koto Panjang Desa Koto Tuo Barat, Kabupaten Kampar

Capture fisheries resources in Koto Panjang Reservoir are very high. This is utilized by fishermen as a livelihood using various fishing gear. This study aims to determine the structure of the fish community in the riverine zone of Koto Panjang Reservoir. This research was conducted in November 2023 - January 2024. The method used was survey. Fish samples were taken at three stations, (St-1) near the Kampar River, (St-2) near the Langgai River, and (St-3) near the mouth of the Sepat Keruh River. Fish samples are the catch of fishermen using gill nets, nets, and linggai kelambu. Fish sampling was carried out 3 times sampling for 3 months with an interval of 1 month. The results showed that the fish caught consisted of 13 species grouped into 6 families. The value of diversity index (H') ranged from 0.714 - 0.723 (low), uniformity index (E) ranged from 0.278 - 0.282 (low) and dominance index (D) ranged from 0.496 - 0.498 (no dominating species). The data obtained indicate that the structure of the fish community can be categorized as low.
