Analisa Kinerja Quality Of Service (QOS) Pada Jaringan Wifi 802.11ax
Every year, IEEE has been continually researching on developing 802.11 WiFi networks, including WiFi 802.11ax is widely being used on commercial gadget devices. Each WiFi development, there has been new technology implemented compared to previous predecessor version of WiFi. This reseearch was initiated to compare WiFi 802.11ax to previous version 802.11ac, as theoretically said 25% more throughput increase due to 1024-QAM modulation. For another scenario, a simulation which increasing the number of end-users on the network transmission of 802.11ax has been done to prove as the theory said 802.11ax is effectively handling more end-user which mathematically suppose to decreased 50% to 80%. As for the last scenario, a simulation has been done to discover a mobile node position will affect the throughput compared to fixed node position. All of the scenario was being simulated on NS3 software, wireshark, and millions of data was computed on Excel to discover the delay and jitter performance on WiFi 802.11ax networks. All simulation has been done successfully, WiFi 802.11ax has 13% to 41% more throughput compared to 802.11ac. WiFi 802.11ax also handling more end-users effectively as the throughput-per-user was not decreased significantly in range of 1% to 40%. Four out of five category, fixed node position is having more 0,2% to 11% throughput compared to mobile node position.
