One of the technological developments in the transportation sector that can be found is the parking service system. Currently, parking in a mall still uses parking attendants who only control each vehicle that enters and also do not pay attention to the capacity of the parking area. So driver errors often occur due to lack of information on parking capacity in a parking area. The solution to this problem is to design and create a more modern parking monitoring system (automated system), by displaying the locations of full and empty parking spaces. This information about empty parking spaces can help parking drivers not to drive around first to find an empty parking space. In this research, researchers designed and made a prototype of an intelligent parking system to find out information about the status of parking lots, including the number of empty parking lots and the location of parking lots. The results show the success rate of the tool during accurate testing with sensor distance readings above 10 cm classified as without an object and sensor readings above 10 cm classified as having an object. From the data that has been obtained, it can be seen that the parking lot monitoring tool can be applied because it can simplify the monitoring system and take advantage of technological developments.
