Pengembangan Modul Matematika Pada Materi Program Linear Dengan Konteks Makanan Khas Masyarakat Kabupaten Kepulauan Meranti Untuk Memfasilitasi Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Matematis Kelas Xi Sma
This research is motivated by students' mathematical problem solving abilities which are still relatively low. One way that can be done to improve students' mathematical problem solving abilities is to improve the quality of mathematics learning in schools using teaching materials that can facilitate students to construct their own knowledge. As a result of interviews and analysis conducted by researchers at several high schools in Meranti Islands Regency, information was obtained that there were limited textbooks provided by the schools, teachers still taught using the lecture method and the teaching materials used by teachers were not yet linked to the culture in the students' environment, causing the participants to students are not active in the learning process. This research aims to facilitate mathematical problem solving abilities by developing a valid and practical mathematical module for the context of typical food in the Meranti Islands Regency with the material used being a linear program.
This research aims to develop a mathematics module in the context of typical food from the Meranti Islands district in linear program material to facilitate mathematical problem solving abilities in class XI high school. The type of research used is research and development (R&D) with a 4-D model, namely define, design, develop and disseminate. The teaching material developed in this research is a mathematical module on the context of typical food from the Meranti Islands Regency. The Define stage is carried out by carrying out initial final analysis, analysis of student characteristics, concept analysis, task analysis, and specification of learning objectives. The Design stage is the stage of making instruments and creating an initial design of the mathematics module. The Development Stage is the stage of developing and validating mathematics modules by experts. The validation results of the mathematics module were revised and then a trial was carried out to determine the level of practicality of the mathematics module. The Disseminate stage is the stage of publishing research results and packaging mathematics modules as products for distribution to several high school schools. Data collection techniques include questionnaires and interviews.
The results of the validation of the mathematics module meet the very valid criteria with an average score of 87.84%, meaning that the mathematics module developed can be tested and revised according to the validator's suggestions. Mathematics modules that have been declared valid are tested on small groups to determine the readability of the mathematics module. The results of the data analysis obtained met the very practical criteria with an average score of 88.78%. Next, the revised module based on suggestions from students was tested again on students in large groups. The practicality results through the student response questionnaire met the very practical criteria with an average score of 88.69%,

meaning that the mathematics module in the context of typical food in the Meranti Islands Regency can facilitate students' mathematical problem solving abilities.
The conclusion from the discussion of the results of the development research carried out is that it has produced a product in the form of a mathematical module on linear programming material in the context of typical food from the Meranti Islands Regency to facilitate mathematical problem solving abilities that meet the criteria of being very valid and very practical. The resulting products are handed over to schools that contribute to research and are expected to be used as learning resources and references for developing mathematics modules in other learning materials. In addition, research results are presented through publications in accredited journals in the form of articles and disseminated through research results seminars, in accordance with the principle of effective and wide dissemination.
