Pengembangan Lkpd Berbasis Pendekatan Kontekstual Pada Materi Barisan Dan Deret Untuk Memfasilitasi Kemampuan Komunikasi Matematis Peserta Didik Smk
This research was motivated by the low mathematical communication skills of students in sequence and series material. This is influenced by the teaching materials at school, namely that LKPD does not facilitate mathematical communication skills. Another factor is that students are not used to giving mathematical explanations and reasons in language that is correct and easy to understand, are not used to changing questions or questions into correct mathematical models, and relate mathematics to the real world, especially regarding lines and series. One approach that can optimize learning and also facilitate mathematical communication skills is the contextual approach. The contextual approach is a learning approach that can help teachers connect the material taught with everyday life and can improve mathematical communication skills. There is a need for innovative teaching materials that can facilitate mathematical communication skills, one of which is the development of LKPD based on a contextual approach.
This research aims to develop LKPD based on a contextual approach to sequence and sequence material to facilitate vocational of SMK students mathematical communication skills. This research is development research using the 4-D development model, namely Define, Design (planning), Develop (development) and Disseminate (dissemination). The data collection techniques used were questionnaires, observation and interviews. The data collection instruments used are validity and practicality instruments.
The definition stage includes initial to final analysis, student analysis, concept analysis, task analysis and formulation of learning objectives. In the initial to final analysis stages, a picture and situation in the school was found regarding students' mathematical communication skills and the teaching materials used by teachers. The results of the mathematical communication ability test carried out at the initial to final analysis stage show that students' mathematical communication skills are still relatively low and the teaching materials such as LKPD used by teachers have not honed students' mathematical communication skills. At the definition stage, student analysis is carried out to determine students' interest in learning, task analysis related to the competencies to be achieved, ability analysis by dividing the material into sub-materials according to the number of meetings, and formulation of learning objectives. for each sub-material. The design stage is carried out by formulating test standards, selecting media, selecting formats and creating an initial product design, namely LKPD. The development stage carried out a formative evaluation of Tessmer with stages of self-evaluation, expert review, one-to-one, small group and field test for LKPD trials.

Based on the results of validation data analysis by expert validators, the average LKPD validation score was 91.15% with very valid criteria. In line with the validation of 3 experts, researchers also conducted one-to-one with 3 students. The LKPD is revised according to the suggestions and suggestions of expert validators at the one-to-one stage. The results of the revised LKPD were then tested on a small group of 6 students and field tested on a large group of 31 students (1 class) and the percentage of student responses was 86.24% with very practical criteria. Based on the description of validity and practicality, it can be concluded that the LKPD developed fulfills valid and practical aspects for use in the learning process.
The disseminate stage was carried out by socializing the developed LKPD to schools that contributed to the research, and through articles published in nationally accredited journal. The research that produced LKPD based on a contextual approach to facilitate vocational school of SMK students' mathematical communication skills was declared valid through a validation process and declared practical based on small group trials and field tested.
